What is snow tubing?
Snow tubing is a fun winter activity where riders slide down groomed snow lanes using inflatable tubes. No experience is required—just hop in and enjoy the ride.​
Do I need a reservation?
We recommend that you reserve and pay for your tubing session on line prior to arriving at Dry Hill. Tubing sessions are first come, first served, unless otherwise posted. Sessions may sell out on weekends, holidays, and during school breaks, so arriving early is recommended.​

Is there a minimum age or height requirement?
Yes. Riders must be at least:

Riders must be able to:

Ride alone in a tube

Sit upright in the tube

Hold on properly

Follow staff instructions​

Can parents ride with their children?
For safety, tubing is one rider per tube. Riding together or linking tubes is not permitted.

What should we wear?
Please dress for winter conditions:

Winter jacket and snow pants

Gloves or mittens
-
Hat or helmet (helmets are recommended)

Winter boots with good traction
No ski boots or special equipment are needed.

Are tubes provided?
Yes. All snow tubes are provided by Dry Hill and are designed specifically for our tubing lanes.​
How do we get back to the top?
A surface lift brings riders and tubes back to the top—no walking uphill required.
​How long is a tubing session?
Tubing is offered in 2 hour timed sessions to ensure everyone gets plenty of runs. Session lengths and start times are posted daily at the tubing area and ticket office.

Are helmets required?
Helmets are not required for snow tubing, but they are strongly recommended, especially for children.

What are the tubing rules?
For everyone’s safety:

One rider per tube

Sit facing forward at all times

Keep hands, arms, and feet inside the tube

No spinning, standing, or linking tubes

Follow all instructions from Dry Hill staff
Guests who do not follow rules may lose tubing privileges.

Does tubing operate in bad weather?
Tubing may be delayed or closed due to:

Extreme cold

Ice, rain, or unsafe snow conditions

Are restrooms and food available?
Yes. Indoor restrooms are available, and the lodge snack bar is open during tubing hours.

Is snow tubing accessible?
Dry Hill strives to be welcoming to all guests. Please contact the office in advance to discuss accessibility needs or adaptive options.
Is a waiver required?
Yes. All participants must have a signed liability waiver on file before tubing. Parents or guardians may sign for children under 18 years old.
